Richard started playing the guitar at 14, then moved to 31 where he had to keep the noise down. Even when living on a farm he once had the neighbours complain. They had to drive over three fields to ask him to turn it down as it was upsetting the geese. The second time this happened he was threatened with a shotgun!! ROCK ROLL.

A major fan of the band - even though he is in it, he never ceases to amaze the others by being completely unable to remember the set constantly referring to his notes, even though he has been in the band for 8 years.
